High Single-Unit Capacity

The independently developed and manufactured LMR58-4 vertical roller mill has an effective grinding disc diameter of 5.8 meters and a raw material grinding capacity of 550 t/h, allowing a single unit to meet the capacity requirements of large production lines.

Low Power Consumption of the Vertical Mill System

According to actual raw material production test data, using a vertical roller mill can save more than 30% of electricity per ton of raw material compared to a traditional tube mill, demonstrating superior energy-saving performance.

Low Noise

The vertical roller mill's grinding rollers and liners do not directly contact each other during operation, eliminating the metallic impact noise from the steel balls colliding with and striking the liners, as is common in ball mills. Therefore, the noise level is 20-25 dB lower than that of ball mills.

Adjustable Finished Product Fineness

The separator uses a DC motor drive, allowing for adjustments to the speed to meet various product fineness requirements. Furthermore, the raw material vertical roller mill produces relatively uniform particle sizes; generally, a residue of around 12% on an 80mm sieve meets the raw material fineness requirements of rotary kilns. Excessive fineness not only reduces output but also wastes energy and makes differential pressure control difficult.

Construction Scale and System Composition

The conventional capacity of the new dry-process cement production line is 500-5000 tons per day, and the capacity of a small production line is 200-400 tons per day.
It mainly consists of systems such as raw material crushing, raw material homogenization, raw meal grinding, cement firing, clinker cooling and storage, coal powder preparation, clinker batching and grinding station, and finished product packaging.

Working Principle

Material falls into the center of the grinding disc through the feed pipe. The constantly rotating disc, aided by centrifugal force, evenly disperses and flattens the raw material, forming a material bed of a certain thickness. Simultaneously, the material is crushed by multiple grinding rollers on the disc. Driven continuously by centrifugal force, the material moves towards the outer edge of the grinding disc. When the material leaving the disc encounters hot gas entering the mill through the air ring, it rises and enters the separator through the central shell of the mill. During this process, the material undergoes thorough heat exchange with the hot gas, and moisture is rapidly evaporated. The classifier controls the finished particle size at the roller mill outlet. Particles larger than the specified size are separated and fall back to the grinding disc, while material meeting the fineness requirements enters the finished product bin through the classifier.
