Supplementary Cementitious Materials Grinding Plant

The raw materials for admixtures primarily include active materials such as volcanic ash, steel mill slag, and water slag. The production line adopts an integrated continuous operation process, with key components including: raw material weighing and conveying system, grinding system, return material system, hot air system (optional), and finished product storage and transportation system.

Process Flow

Working Principle

The mill operates on material‑bed grinding: a rotating grinding disc forms a stable material layer, while hydraulic‑powered rollers apply high pressure to crush material through compression and shear. Simultaneously, hot air enters from the bottom air duct, lifting and drying fine particles (moisture ≤8%). An integrated vortex classifier adjusts fineness via blade angle (typically ≤10% residue on 45 μm sieve), combining grinding, classification, and drying in one unit without external drying equipment.

Technical Advantage

Efficient and Energy-Saving

Material-layer grinding delivers significantly higher efficiency than ball mill impact grinding, with unit product power consumption reduced to 60-70% of a ball mill's. A single production line can save millions of kilowatt-hours annually.

Compact process

Integrating grinding, grading, and drying functions, the equipment occupies only 50% -60% of the ball mill system, reducing civil engineering investment by more than 30%.

Superior Product Quality

Features particles with high sphericity and balanced gradation. Specific surface area is easily adjustable (300-450 m²/kg), enhancing cement hydration and concrete strength.

Environmental friendliness

The closed loop system has no dust overflow, and the noise level is below 85dB, which meets environmental standards.
